There was jubilation at St. Joseph Mission on Gaudete Sunday (Third Sunday of Advent) when 75 candidates received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Judicial Vicar Fr. Francis Mukosa, representing the  Archbishop His Grace Dr. Alick Banda, administered the Sacrament. The seventy-five(75) candidates were drawn from 36 Centers of the Mission. Some of the candidates come  from  distances that are as far as 80 Km away from the Mission. They camped at the Mission for 3 days while being prepared for the day of confirmation.

In his homily Fr. Mukosa encouraged the Christians to prepare and celebrate the Birth of the Lord as true followers of Christ. Not in a commercial way.
