Seminarian Fund Presentation Mass.

On October 12, 2024, the Archdiocese of Ndola hosted its annual Seminarian Fund Presentation at Independence Stadium in Kalulushi. Organized by the Catholic Women’s Organizations, the event gathered women from all ten deaneries, alongside priests and religious men and women and the Lay-faithful, under the theme “Spiritual Growth and Unity Through the Cross.” The day commenced with a heartfelt Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Ndola, Most Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri, JCD. In his homily, Archbishop Dr. Phiri encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in their service to God. He urged the women to persevere despite challenges and criticisms, reminding them that even Jesus faced accusations during His ministry. Following the Mass, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation as the presentation of the cheque for seminarian training and awards took place. This initiative not only supports the education of future priests but also fosters a spirit of unity and collaboration among the faithful.
