On Tuesday, 15th August 2023, the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Ndola Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri
celebrated his 3 rd Anniversary as Bishop of Ndola on the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary. The
celebration which started with mass was held at Cathedral of Christ the King Ndola. During mass the
Bishop thanked God for the gift of Mother Mary as a gift to the Church and to his life as well. He further
thanked all the Priests, Religious and the lay faithful who have helped him to manage his work in the
Diocese since his installation in 2020.
After mass, there was an interaction in the Diocesan Conference with the Bishop and later he shared a
meal with Priests, Religious men and women and the representatives of the various groupings in the
Diocese.
