Today, 16th August 2020, His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr Benjamin Phiri, celebrated his first mass as the new Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ndola. The beautiful Eucharist Celebration was held at the Cathedral of Christ the King, where parishioner had a chance to celebrate mass with their new Bishop and Parish Priest. Archbishop Rt. Rev. Dr Alick Banda of Lusaka Archdiocese co-celebrated this mass with him and give an inspiring Homily. In attendance, was H. E. Dr. Edgar Lungu the Republican President, Honorable Ministers, Mayors and other Delegates. After mass, the Cathedral Parish executive had a ”meet and greet” with the president at the Diocesan Curia Offices before his depart for Lusaka. Below are a few Highlights.
