On the 7th of August 2021, His Excellency President Edgar Lungu officially commissioned the paving project done at the Cathedral of Christ the King. Present at this event representing Ndola diocese was Acting Vicar General- Rev. Fr. Francis Mukosa, Pastoral Director- Rev. Fr. Mathews Mumba, and Finance Manager- Rev. Fr. Augustine Mwansa Representing the Cathedral was The Cathedral Administrator- Rev. Fr. Lewis Mutachila, St. Joseph Guest house Manager – Rev. Fr. Mariusz Joskot and Parish Executive Members.
