Today, 26th November 2022, the Catholic Men’s Organisation (C.M.O) of Ndola Diocese presented money raised for the support of Pastoral Activities in the Diocese. The colourful event began with Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Ndola Diocese- Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD. It was Concelebrated by the Vicar General- Very Rev. Fr. Christopher Chowa and clergy who had travelled from all 10 deaneries of the Diocese. After Mass, Bishop Dr. Phiri was presented with a cheque of K1,303,038.50. An Award ceremony succeeded the presentation to recognise, individuals, Parishes and Deaneries for their exceptional contribution. Congratulations to the overall Best Parish -Sts. Peter and Paul, Chingola with the Highest contribution of K145,500.00, Our Lady of Africa Parish, Nkana for Coming in second with a contribution of K102,171.00 and St. Pius x, Chiliabombwe for scooping the third position with a contribution of k101,000.00.
