Archbishop of Lusaka Dr. Alick Banda who is also Apostolic Administrator of Ndola Diocese, ordained three deacons to the ministry of priesthood on Saturday 4th August, 2018 the Feast of John Maria Vianney. The ordination was at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Ndola.

Those ordained included Fr. Chilambwe Mulenga a parishioner of St Nicholas Parish in Ndola, Fr Katongo Mulenga who is from Lubuto Parish in Ndola and Fr. Mark Ngwenya a Jesuit from Our Lady of Africa Parish in Kitwe.

Present at the ordination was the Society of Jesus (SJ) Regional Superior Fr Leonard Chiti and many other priests.

Many Christians attended the ordination and the congregation was led in singing by a combined choir.
