Today, 13th November, 2020, Priests and the Religious of the Catholic Diocese of Ndola travel from across the diocese to attended special prayers dedicated to the departed Priests and Religious Men and Women. This gathering took place at Ibenga Mission and began with mass celebrated by Rt. Rev. Fr. Benjamin Phiri- Bishop of Ndola. Mass was succeeded by a procession to Ibenga cemetery where first Bishop of Ndola, Rt. Rev. Francis Mazzieri. Ofm. Conv. was buried together with other priests and  religious men and women. His Lordship, Bishop Benjamin Phiri  then prayed for the departed souls and blessed the tombs with Holy Water. After the final blessing Priest, the Religious and the lay-faithful, took time to interact and pay their respects to those that have passed on and to the late Bishop Mazzieri.
