Today, 18th February 2020,The Catholic Diocese of Ndola- Education Department in conjunction with the Commission for Catholic Professionals in Education (CCPE) organised a Guidance and Counseling workshop that took place at Dominican Convent school in Ndola. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Clement Kasenge, President of National Association of Zambia and lecturer at Zambia Catholic University who focused on the scope of Guidance and Counselling. The other Facilitator was Rev. Fr. Mathews Mumba- Pastoral Director, who focused on the impact of social media in society, especially on children. He also taught on the spiritual and moral responsibilities of teachers in school.

The workshop was attended by CDON Education secretary- Mrs. Scholastica Saidi , CCPE secretary- Ms. Catherine Khuzwayo and 18 Guidance and Counselling teachers from various Catholic Schools.
