Today, 2nd July 2023 seven brothers from the Franciscan Missionary Brothers of Service made
their final Solemn vows at Sts. Francis and Claire Parish in Mufulira. Very Rev. Fr. Lewis
Mutachila, the Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Ndola was the main Celebrant standing
in for the Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri.

During his homily, the Vicar General encouraged the brothers to live out the vows they were making in the spirit of love for Christ, courage and obedience to the will of God. He also warned them of the many challenges that come because of their decision to give their life to the service of God and his Church.
