The Diocesan Youth Day that was held on 13th August 2022, saw youths from across the Catholic Diocese of Ndola come together at Nkana Stadium, Kitwe. They celebrated their Day, first beginning with Mass that was celebrated by Acting Vicar general- Rev. Fr. Bernard Kapembwa. It was succeeded with various activities that included a talk by Rev. Fr. Elias Muma, who encouraged the Youth to be confident, alert, and innovative. He also encouraged them to have a vision and standards for their lives. After the talk, the youth competed in a bible quiz that comprised of two representatives from all 10 deaneries. The Winner from the female representatives was from Chingola Deanery and was crowned Miss. DYD and the Winner from the male representatives was from Ndola Deanery and was crowned Mr. DYD. The event also included the awarding of certificates of recognition to deserving individuals. The Colourful celebrations ended with a blessing from the Youth Chaplain- Rev. Fr. Ackim Musenge.
