Today, 15th March 2023, His Lordship Rt .Rev. Dr Benjamin Phiri JCD was the guest of honor at the official opening and blessing of a one by seven classroom block at St. Kizito Christian youth community school in Chamboli, Kitwe. Guests present included Radio Icengelo CEO- Rev. Fr Chonde, representatives from the office of the District Education Board Secretary Kitwe, the chairperson of Kitwe Private School Association, Limburg Partnership representative, P.T.A executive members, parents and pupils came to witness the occasion.

In his Speech, His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD thanked the sponsors for the construction of the one by seven classroom block at the school. This gesture will increase the number of pupils to be enrolled at the school and also to create space in the already congested classrooms.

He also thanked the DEBS office for ensuring that the School has a grade 7 examination centre. The Bishop urged the director of the school and its management to continue working hard so that the school grows into a secondary school. Other guest speakers thanked the Catholic Church for promoting holistic education and partnership with Government in the provision of education to the Zambian children.
