Today, 17th November 2021, was indeed a joyful day for St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lubengele as they officially opened a school that will be ran by the Parish. San Pio Catholic School is a beautiful two storey school that is expected to run from preschool to Grade 7. The colourful celebration began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, which was celebrated by Very Rev. Fr. Christopher Chowa and concelebrated by Radio Icengelo C.E.O – Rev.Fr. Mutachila, Liturgical Manager- Rev. Fr. Miguel, Parish Priest- Rev. Fr. Chalwe Chonde, Rev. Fr. Benson, Rev. Fr. Simon and Rev. Fr. Mariuz. It was then succeeded by the blessing of the school building, with Holy Water and Incense. Later the Dean of Chililabombwe- Rev. Fr. Peter Mobe and Rev. Fr. Thomas joined the blessing ceremony.
