Today, 21st November 2020, His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri, visited Kitwe deanery at St. John the Baptist Church in Chimwemwe. The visit began with a speech from the Vicar Forane – Rev. Fr. Everisto Chisenga who welcomed the Bishop and gave a brief History, Achievements and Challenges of the deanery. He then Invited the Bishop to Celebrate the Eucharist Celebration. At the end of Mass a short Trophy Presentation was done. Parishes were awarded trophies from the diocese that were given to Kitwe deanery at the Seminarian Fund Presentation. After mass, Bishop Dr. Phiri commissioned and blessed the new Administration Offices that have been built and furnished at the Parish. Below are a few highlights.
