Today, August 17th, 2024, the Archdiocese of Ndola witnessed a momentous event as ten candidates were ordained to the priesthood. The ordination, presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD, Archbishop of Ndola, took place at the Sisters of John the Baptist Convent in Kitwe. The ceremony attracted a large gathering, with over a hundred priests and numerous faithful filling the grounds to witness this sacred milestone.

In his homily, Archbishop Phiri emphasized the importance of humility, urging the newly ordained priests to remain humble regardless of their education and achievements.
