On 24th October 2020, the Catholic Diocese of Ndola had a lot to celebrate, not only was it Zambia’s 56th commemoration of its independence but it was a day on which 5 Seminarians where ordained deacons. The colourful celebration took place at the Diocesan Curia Grounds in Ndola. The Ordination Mass was celebrated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri- Bishop of Ndola Diocese. During his Homily, His lordship encouraged the Deacons to remain humble and focused on their Calling. He reminded them that they are still in formation and should be willing to learn from those who have gone ahead of them. He also warned them of dangers and challenges that come as a result of their decision to serve God as Deacons and eventually as Priests. Below are a few highlights
